Luther King’s “I Had a Dream” speech, and others that I won’t take the time to mention here.
In reality, the most important speech ever in the entire history of mankind took place in Jerusalem, nearly 2,000 years ago. It didn’t take place before a gigantic television audience. it didn’t take place in front of a throng of people, nor did it take place to wild applause and fanfare.
It took place with just a few close relatives and friends standing by. It was, as a matter of fact, in sharp contrast to the military and political victories we often see, as well as the triumphant jubilation when your favorite sports team wins a championship.
YET, THE WORDS SPOKEN HAVE MADE THE GREATEST IMPACT UPON ALL OF US, AND THEY CONTINUE TO ECHO THROUGH THE LIVES OF MILLIONS OF PEOPLE THE WORLD OVER.
You may not remember any of the words spoken by those men and women listed as the most important speeches. Yet, the Words spoken from Jerusalem some 2,000 years ago are easy to remember, yet hard to acknowledge.
The speech I’m talking about were spoken by our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ upon the Cross of Calvary!

Three simple words…
The redemption of mankind was completed, finished, as Jesus Christ completed his mission of dying in our place on the Cross. it is the true message of “Hope and Change.” It’s a message that actually brings peace, and without it we would never have true peace.
Jesus Christ, and the shedding of His Blood, upon that Cross, changed the course of mankind forever. Man could now have sweet fellowship with God through the substitutionary work of His beloved Son. I Once was lost, but now I’m found…
