In the modern church many look at the resurrection of Jesus Christ as just an allegorical event used to point to your dreams, destiny and purpose. This is the exact problem 
which the Church at Colossae had. Jesus was looked at as being either an angel, spirit, or some sort of emanation from “God,” or their perception of Him.
Yet, Jesus really did have a body. He really did die, and He really did rise again!
